Solution

The new brand uses warm colors, clean typography, playful elements, and an inviting tone to reflect the heart of Ginger’s Pet Rescue.

Designed for a broad audience of dog lovers, the brand is consistent across digital and physical touch points social media, website, and events. It builds trust, enhances visibility, and honors the rescue’s purpose while creating space for future growth and community connection.

Ginger’s Pet Rescue began on January 11th, 2006, founded by Ginger Luke who rescued her first dog, Barney. What started as a personal mission has grown into a non-profit organization. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is committed to rescuing, fostering, and rehoming dogs in need.

Rooted in community and driven by compassion, the organization has helped thousands of dogs find loving homes.

Brand Story

Ginger’s Pet Rescue brand mark reflects the organization’s core values of unity, compassion, and reliability. The logo features a warm, minimal silhouette of a dog resting its head on a person’s shoulder that symbolizes trust, comfort, and mutual care.

This composition highlights the human-animal bond while visually communicating togetherness and connection. The primary brand mark serves as a welcoming symbol for adopters, fosters, and volunteers.

Brand Mark

Ginger’s Pet Rescue uses three types of typeface Rubik, Nunito, and Dita. Structured yet simple and friendly which ensures clarity and readability across multiple platforms.

Dita
Used for Ginger’s Pet Rescue Logo. Dita is a soft, rounded sans serif that combines freshness of display type. A testament to our reliability that reflects our friendly identity.

Rubik
Sans serif font family with slightly rounded corners. Great for headings to provide hierarchy and context

Nunito
A well balanced sans serif that looks simple, open, and approachable. Perfect for body text to convey need-to-know information because it communicates simplicity and straightforwardness.

Typography

Ginger’s Pet Rescue’s color palette reflects the heart of our mission bringing people and dogs together through trust, care, and connection.

Using a blend of warm and cool tones supports our brand values:
Warm hues like red, yellow, and pink express friendship, compassion, and joy, capturing the emotional bond between people and pets.
Cool hues like blue and deep green bring a sense of trust, stability, and authenticity, reinforcing our dependability as a rescue.

Together, these colors create a balanced, welcoming identity that mirrors the relationship shown in our logo. The palette feels approachable and uplifting.

Color

Inspired by our brand logo, Ginger’s Pet Rescue uses rounded, organic shapes layered with simple line art. The shapes are combined with the brand colors to create a cohesive look.

These patterns can be used for web, merchandise, social media, advertisements, and print materials. They are designed with unity and compassion in mind.
